Canine Tracking Training
K9 Tracking -We understand that tracking is a difficult discipline to master and we provide the K-9 teams the training necessary to build a successful operational K-9 tracking team. Our course covers basic training, ground disturbances, surface changes, multi-surfaces, long distances, extended age of tracks, cross tracks, distractions, and track contamination. Reading the dog, scent articles, search preparation, cover officer tactics, scent discrimination, environmental influences, maintenance training, and record keeping are also covered. K-9 Teams will track in both urban and rural environments.
Our courses include training for both handler and dog. Handlers receive extensive classroom and field training to prepare them for the role of a proficient K-9 tracking handler/team.
